Chocolate miso truffles





Cacao/cocoa powder

Brown miso

These are simple and extremely delicious.

You can use cocoa (which is cheaper) but Cacao is healthier as it hasn't been heat treated.


Cover the dates in boiling water and leave to soak until the water has cooled and the dates have softened. Discard the water blend the dates and mix with the cacao and miso.

Using a spoon or falafel scoop, scoop up the mixture and attempt to roll it into balls. Roll them in cacao powder and chill in the fridge to solidify.
